This lightweight scarf is made of pure Ethiopian cotton. It emulates the scarves and shawls most Ethiopian women wear on holidays and special occasions. The soft colors and airiness of these scarves make them perfect for spring and summer. Available in 3 colors!
- Material: 100% Cotton dyed using low-impact, AZO-free, REACH certified reactive dyes.

- Care: Machine wash in cold water, hang dry and iron. Do not bleach.

Artisan Profile
The Addis Ababa group strives to create respectful, ethical and sustainable work opportunities for artisans in Ethiopia and showcase the talents of their weavers to the world. Inspired by the ancient weaving traditions of Ethiopia, they create exquisite textiles using natural fibers. The beauty of handspun thread is a rare commodity in our quickly changing world of mechanized textile factories.
From the spinning of the thread to the weaving of the fabric, the process is done entirely by hand. The skill of hand spinning is passed down from mother to daughter and most rural women spin at their homes for extra income. Honoring this tradition, they purchase hand spun cotton thread from a network of women throughout the community. As most spinning is done during free time, it is a way to support women with supplemental income.
Hand weaving has been a way of life for centuries in Ethiopia. Even today, almost all of the traditional Ethiopian clothing is made on hand looms. The art of weaving is passed down from father to son, thus almost all weavers in Ethiopia are men. The techniques have not changed much for centuries, but the patterns, colors and designs have become increasingly sophisticated. A weaver can produce one to three scarves in a day depending on the level of detail of the design.

All orders are processed within 2–3
business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12
pm EST through Sunday, or holidays. Estimated shipping for all products will vary

orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.

any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after
shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other

Damages
BBWeddingOutlet.com is not liable for any
products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged,
please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging
materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. Take photos, if possible, of
the damaged shipment.
Incorrect Shipping
Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the
shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid
address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact
the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address,
the order will be canceled and refunded.
Borrowed & Blue Wedding Outlet will not be held
responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot
recover the package.
Missing or Stolen

We want you to be happy with your purchase. You may request a return within 3 days of receipt. Returns will only be accepted if item is in original, unworn condition and with tags attached.
